Sterling Creek

The black and white image was taken by Edna Williams in 1913 from the bridge on Old State Road. The trees had been cleared from the hillside years earlier for use in building log cabins and keeping those cabins warm. The field was planted probably with corn. The autumn photo was taken in 2012 and shows the second growth trees, probably planed in the 1930s. The winter image was taken in 2020.
